Hello all, as the thread suggests I am pretty much new to the world of shooting (apart from a paintballing session and some short distance target shooting back in Scouts) and am looking at buying my first air rifle (I don't have a Firearms Certificate). I stumbled across the "Airgun Gear show" and found it quite informative. After watching some reviews and looking around I'm currently torn between the
Hatsan Striker 1000s
Remington Express Combo
Remington Tyrant
I'm most likely going to be using them for target shooting rather than hunting and was wondering what people thought about each of these rifles or if anyone has any other suggestions for a first rifle. My budget is around the £150 mark but am willing to spend the little bit extra. For example, on the Remington due to the scope that's included but then this raises the question of whether a scope is really necessary on my first rifle. Also if there's any other gear, apart from pellets, that I should get suggestions are appreciated.
Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this but I couldn't find a "beginners" section. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Dont let my recent post on my experience with a Remington Express put you off , mine was second hand and I think had been abused ! I am sure when new and un tampered with they are very good rifles, but like you I am new to air guns , so will let more experienced people advise you. The Express come with iron sights and a scope , its fun using either , but I like using the scope even at 15yds in my back garden.
