I bought an HW100 that was used, sent it to Alan Zasadny for a tune. This is THE most accurate airgun I have ever known. As rsoleuk mentioned, the only thing I know to surely beat the HW100 is the LG110. I have my eye on the LG but it is just way too expensive at the moment. My HW100 is in 177 cal, shoots at 875 fps all day long and is more accurate than I can shoot. I have a Talon SS that I needed to tune. When it went to shooting erratically, I picked up the HW to make sure it wasn't my shooting or a bit of wind across the range. I also got very lucky with a 177 Maraudr. Right out of the box, that gun shot very well. I shot over 170 rats at 12-50 yarsd using a Pulsar night vision scope, anything in 30 yards was a head shot as a rule. Not bad with a 4x magnification in total darkness. The Pulsar on the HW is just plain no fun. I keep the Marauder ( in a TeryX Tactical Stock) for field work and the HW for field target. I hold my own pretty well against folks with LG110s and March scopes. My FT optic is a custom Leupold 6.5-20 EFR with a TMR reticle installed.
